Team Secret is a European team that was first established during the post-TI4 shuffle. The original team drew upon players from former Natus Vincere, Fnatic and Alliance squads. The team has since undergone a number of reincarnations, but uniformly under the captaincy of Clement 'Puppey' Ivanov. Since its formation Team Secret have been one of the most successful brands in Dota 2, not only in Europe but on the international stage as well.

History

  • August 27th - Secret Team reveal their roster in their first official match in Star Ladder Star Series Season 10.[1] Officially, BigDaddy, Fly and s4 were still under contract with their previous teams. Shortly afterwards, Fnatic officially announced their player's departures.[2]
  • September 3rd - Alliance announces the departure of s4.[3]
  • December 16th - After being inactive for a short period of time, Simbaaa officially leaves the team.[4]

  • January 1st - BigDaddy leaves the team. Arteezy and zai are revealed as standins for the upcoming Dota 2 Asia Championships.[5]
  • January 6th - Arteezy and zai are confirmed as active players on Secret's roster along with role changes.[6]
  • August 14th - Arteezy leaves to rejoin Evil Geniuses.[7]
  • August 15th - zai goes inactive to finish high school, but will remain with the team.[8]
  • August 22nd - A new roster is announced for the upcoming The Frankfurt Major.[9]
  • August 30th - zai officially becomes an EG sub.[10]
  • December 7th - Solitude and distilled join as substitutes.[11]

  • March 22nd - w33 and MiSeRy are replaced by Arteezy and UNiVeRsE.[12][13]
  • March 24th - 1437 is confirmed to have rejoined Team Secret as a coach.[14]
  • June 9th - UNiVeRsE leaves to join Evil Geniuses while BuLba replaces him.[15] Aui_2000 joins as substitute.
  • August 19th - EternaLEnVy, Aui_2000, and 1437 leave the team during post TI6 shuffle.[16]
  • August 27th - The team announces its new roster for the 2016/2017 season. Arteezy and BuLba leave; MP, MidOne, and Forev join.[17]
  • November 6th - KheZu replaces Forev.[18]

  • May 4th - Team Secret and pieliedie part ways. YapzOr joins as the new position 4 player while Puppey moves to position 5.[19]
  • June 11th - SunBhie joins as a coach.
  • August 14th - Team parts ways with MP and KheZu.[20]
  • September 5th - Ace and Fata are officially confirmed to be on the new Team Secret roster.[21] Fata, typically a mid, moves to offlane on this new roster.

  • September 5th - Ace and Fata depart from Team Secret.[22]
  • September 11th - Nisha and zai join the remaining members of the team to complete the roster for the 2018/19 DPC season.[23]

  • November 4th - A new roster for the 2019/20 DPC season is announced: MidOne steps down from the active roster and coach SunBhie parts ways with the team. They are replaced by MATUMBAMAN who will be playing the carry role and Heen as coach while Nisha switches to the mid lane.[24]
  • December 30 - MidOne leaves the team.[25]

  • August 3rd - Resolut1on replaces iceiceice in the active roster, right before the TI qualifiers started. [26]
